| WHAT: | Billboard Mujeres Latinas en la Música is the first-ever Latin Women in Music Event. Presented by Billboard and Telemundo, the inaugural event taped on May 6 at the Watsco Center in Miami, FL celebrating Latin female artists, executives and creatives who are proactively working for positive change, inclusion and gender parity in the music industry. The two-hour musical special will air tonight, May 7 at 9PM CT/8 CT on Telemundo and Universo. |
| WHO: | Billboard Mujeres Latinas en la Música is hosted by Latin music icon Ivy Queen and Mexican actress and television host Jacqueline Bracamontes. Special honorees include Shakira (Latin Woman of the Year Award), Ana Gabriel (Living Legend Award), Emilia (Rising Star Award), Evaluna (Tradition and Future Award), Goyo (Agent of Change Award), Maria Becerra (Visionary Award), and Thalia (Global Powerhouse Award). The special will feature electrifying performances by Ana Gabriel, Thalia, Evaluna featuring JP Saxe, Emilia featuring Ludmilla, Goyo and Ivy Queen. Confirmed presenters who take the stage include Maluma, Giselle Blondet, Chiky Bombom, Jessica Carrillo, Greeicy, Guaynaa, Ha*Ash, Ludmilla, Andrea Meza, Lele Pons, and Elena Rose. |
