Grupo Frontera, Junior H, Nacho and more added to Billboard Latin Music

Today, global music authority Billboard announced Grupo Frontera, along with Álvaro Díaz, Debi Nova, Jasiel Núñez, Junior H, La Joaqui, Luck Ra, Mario BautistaNacho, Saiko, Tito Double P, Inter Miami CF’s Leo Campana and Club América’s Igor Lichnovsky will join more than 60 artists at the 2024 Billboard Latin Music Week. Celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, the ultimate celebration of Latin music, culture, and entertainment will take place from October 14-18 at The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater. Regional Mexican music stars Grupo Frontera will participate in the highly anticipated Making the Hit LIVE panel on Tuesday, October 15. Exclusive to Billboard Latin Music Week, members of Grupo Frontera will show fans how they create a hit from scratch. Later that evening, the group will headline Billboard En Vivo, presented by Smirnoff Ice, with Majo Aguilar opening the show at the Wynwood Marketplace. Grupo Frontera En Vivo tickets start at $40 and are available for purchase at BillboardLatinMusicWeek.com. Latin Music Week INSIDER pass holders will receive free access to this event and do not need to purchase additional tickets.

It was also announced Álvaro Díaz, Albert HypeAlexis “El Chachito” FierroCaleb Calloway, and Miguel Armenta will join the How I Wrote The Song: The Urban and Música Mexicana edition panel, presented by BMI. Debi Nova has been added to theThe Women’s Panel, Global Rising: A Conversation with Female Stars from Around the Globe, presented by Ulta Beauty. Jasiel Núñez, Junior H, and Tito Double P will join the Nuevo Mexicano: Peso Pluma and Friends panel. La Joaqui and Luck Ra will be part of the Entre Amigos panel, presented by Billboard Argentina. Nacho will join the Venezuela Rising panel, Mario Bautista will participate in the From Viral Hits to Billboard Charts: The Power of Content Creators panel, and Saiko will perform at the Next Gen Reggaeton: An Evening Curated by J Balvin. 

For the second year in a row, Billboard Latin Music Week will host a special sports panel featuring Inter Miami CF’s Leo Campana and Igor Lichnovsky from Club América and the Chilean national team. Moderated by Emmy-winning Didi Sports CEO Daniella Durán, the panel titled Sports and Music: The Winning Combination will delve into how athletes and musicians are collaborating more closely to promote both industries, highlighting the powerful synergy between sports and music.

Celebrating its 35th anniversary, Billboard Latin Music Week is the longest-running and biggest Latin music industry gathering in the world—a must-attend event for new, established, and upcoming artists, executives, and industry leaders alike. The 2024 edition will feature exclusive panel conversations and performances by Latin music’s biggest stars, as well as workshops, showcases, networking opportunities, and more.

Billboard Latin Music Week will coincide with the 2024 Billboard Latin Music Awards, which will take place in Miami, Florida and broadcast on Sunday, October 20, at 9pm/8c on Telemundo. Please note, Latin Music Week tickets will not include access to the awards show this year. Instead, Billboard will host a special 35th-year anniversary celebration on the evening of October 18 where INSIDER badge holders will receive exclusive invitations to this star-studded event. 

Billboard Latin Music Week sponsors include Azzaro Parfums, Cheetos, Chevron, DoorDash, Johnnie Walker Blended Scotch Whisky, Smirnoff, Smirnoff ICE, Ulta Beauty,, and Walmart. 

  • Azzaro Parfums will feature immersive fragrance sampling stations onsite.
  • Cheetos will return for year three of the Deja Tu Huella partnership, which is all about inspiring and uplifting the Latino community. Fans will be able to step into the world of J Balvin & Cheetos at the Next Gen Reggaeton: An Evening Curated by J Balvin event and leave their mark with Cheetos-inspired games, bold flavors & beats from the next generation of Reggaeton.
  • Chevron will host a «Refuel Station» at The Fillmore.
  • DoorDash will curate a menu of featured restaurants, and host a sampling station for fans to try the best of local Miami cuisine. 
  • Johnnie Walker, celebrated for its progress and championing cultural changemakers, Johnnie Walker Black Label will be the exclusive spirits partner of Billboard’s Latin Power Players and launching a mentorship program for rising Latin music artists over the coming weeks. 
  • Smirnoff will return as the exclusive Vodka partner, bringing the Spicy vibes all week long as the presenting sponsor of Billboard Latin Music Week’s 35th Anniversary.
