Stanislaus Latino Chamber of Commerce July Newsletter

Hola SLCC Members, Supporters, Familia,
Here’s hoping that everyone had a happy and safe 4th of July. My family, like yours, enjoyed the holiday and celebrated the freedoms it represents. The summer weather is upon us, so please continue to stay safe and hydrated.
June was a great month for us. From ribbon cuttings to various committee meetings within the chamber and in the community, it was a month to remember. Most notably, we held our 3rd Loteria Night with the Modesto Nuts and gave away our third 75” TV, courtesy of Barrios Realty Consultants. Additionally, we hosted our Multi-Chamber Summer Bash Mixer at Contentment Brewing Company in Modesto.
The June Mixer was our largest turnout of the year, with over 200 people in attendance. It’s fantastic that businesses are realizing the power of their economic dollar extends far beyond city limits. It was wonderful to have the Ceres, Modesto, Patterson, and Turlock Chambers of Commerce join us for the fun.
This mixer also served as the platform for announcing the winner of our Beer Naming Contest. Congratulations to Jose Borroel for submitting the winning name, El Empresario Cerveza, also known as Take It Easy (ECC). It’s the #3 at Contentment Brewing Company, so be sure to stop by and grab a cold glass. Thank you Alejandro at Contentment Brewing for allowing us to make a beer with you.
Look for more fun in July, and don’t forget to spend a few nights out at the Stanislaus County Fair.
Wishing you all a happy July, and remember, we are «A Chamber for Everyone.»
